Built in 1993.
Plumorchard shelter is the last one in Georgia before you reach Bly Gap and the North Carolina line. Good water source on the hike into the shelter from the trail. Spring near shelter, but better spring down ravine to left of A.T. at the gap. bear cables, privy, picnic table with roof, and a sky light.
Sleeps 14.
There aren't that many good tent sites.
